Em Oi! means "Hey you!" in Vietnamese a warm, playful greeting between friends. That is exactly how we want you to feel when you walk through our door. From the very beginning, we have had one big dream, not just to open a café, but to leave a lasting footprint on the coffee culture of Norway. To show that coffee can be more than a quick cup on the go. That it can be a story, a culture, an experience. And we are just getting started.
We believe food and coffee have the power to connect people across cultures. Em Oi! is not just a café , it is a cultural meeting point where Vietnamese tradition and Norwegian warmth come together. We want every guest to leave feeling like they have experienced something real, something authentic, and something they cannot find anywhere else in Oslo.
Vietnamese Coffee
Our Vietnamese Coffee menu is the heart of Em Oi! Every cup is brewed with authentic Vietnamese beans imported directly from Vietnam, using the traditional phin filter method. From the classic cà phê sữa, strong coffee with sweetened condensed milk - to the indulgent egg coffee and tropical coconut coffee, every drink is a genuine taste of Vietnam. Hot or iced, each cup is made with love and patience.
Signature
Our signature drinks are handcrafted in-house, inspired by the flavours of Vietnam - jasmine, pandan, lychee, coconut and tropical fruits. Each drink is unique, refreshing and designed to surprise. From the floral Princess Peach to the tropical Coconut Blossom with pandan foam, our signatures are as beautiful as they are delicious - perfect for sharing on social media.
Tea Edition
Beyond coffee, we offer a carefully selected range of hot and cold drinks - from fragrant jasmine and oolong teas to our homemade Saigon limeade (Chanh Đá) and fresh coconut water. Everything is chosen to complement our Vietnamese flavours.
Vietnamese & Asian Cuisine
Our kitchen serves traditional Vietnamese street food made from family recipes passed down through generations. From slow-cooked phở with handmade noodles to crispy bánh mì and homemade wontons - everything is cooked fresh to order, from 11:00. Traditional family recipes, made with love.

Em Oi! is more than a café - we are a full dining experience. Whether you are stopping by for a morning coffee, a Vietnamese lunch or an evening with friends, we have a carefully selected wine and beer menu to complement your meal. Cocktails coming soon.
